Dave Otterson - President
Mr. Otterson is the President for HITCO Carbon Composites, Inc. He is responsible for the Aerostructures and Materials businesses with facilities in California and Arkansas. Prior to Hitco, Dave Otterson was the President of UIC Maintenance & Manufacturing (UICMM), LLC. He managed seven operating companies that were involved in Government Services and manufacturing. Other positions held in his career include: ATK - Vice President, Operations & Supply Chain for Mission Systems Group, and VP/GM of the Aerostructures Division in (Iuka, MS), President / CEO of Westwind Technologies, Inc., an aerospace manufacturing and aircraft modification company, Director of Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma) for Wal-Mart, Inc., and Founder and CEO of Ozark Aircraft Systems (OAS), LLC., an aircraft MRO and Executive VVIP interior completion center. Mr. Otterson is a US Naval Academy graduate with a BS in Mathematics and a MS in Finance from the University of Texas. He was a Naval Aviator and accumulated over 2,300 flight hours in both fixed and rotary-winged aircraft.
Jeff Schade
Jeff Schade - Senior Vice President, Program Management
Mr. Schade’s early career roots were established in Quality Assurance within the aerospace industry with McDonnell Douglas on the C-17 program, followed by increasing leadership roles with Pilkington Aerospace.  Mr. Schade pursued Finance, Sales, Marketing and General Management positions in various industries including component manufacturing for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration applications, customized air movers for telecommunications, medical and industrial customers and specialized steel and concrete transmission poles supporting the electric utility industry before joining HITCO in 2010.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from California State University Long Beach.
Eric Sorenson
Eric Sorenson – Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Sorenson joined HITCO in 2009.  He has over 20 years experience in the aerospace industry in both technical and management roles with Rockwell International, Northrop Grumman, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.  Mr. Sorenson has focused his career on process development and manufacturing of composite aerospace structures for commercial aircraft, military airplanes, spacecraft and unmanned vehicles.  At Boeing, Mr. Sorenson achieved the distinction of Associate Technical Fellow for his work in the composites field.  Mr. Sorenson earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Materials Science Engineering from UCLA.
